Samantha Shanti Green was born on November 20, 2011 at 2:04 AM. She weighed 8 pounds and 2 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. She was born at home into the loving arms of me and her daddy. She had a 2 foot cord that wrapped around her neck 3 times and once around her body. She came out very alert and looking all around her.
Her midwife was Rachel Talley and her doula was Rachelle Davis. They did an amazing job. Her aunt Alicia took pictures and video taped the birth. Grandma Stott was also there to help me with the labor.
Everything went really well and I had a very fast 3 1/2 hour labor. I delivered Sammy in a birth pool and would never do it any other way if I can help it.
We have an amazing, healthy, happy daughter now and we couldn't be happier. She is our everything.
