Home Made Console Table

This weekend was the first weekend working on our projects from http://www.knock-offwood.com/. We started by cleaning up Chris parents garage. We live in a little apartment right now and their is not enough room for these kinds of projects. Chris got up at 9 cleaned the apartment, started cleaning out the garage and pretty much had is all cleaned by the time I got off work at 1. We got the supplies at Home Depot. The wood cost us about $30, screws $15, paint brush $3, stain $15, sand paper $5 and wool for stain $3. Total it cost about $70. This was our first project and so we had to buy a lot of things that we'll be able to use on our other projects. If we had most of the basic supplies already, this project probably would have cost us about $50-$60. Not too bad for a solid wood table. Chris was amazing and totally supportive through all of this.
